Every glove which leaves the factory
has to meet with our strict standards of quality specifications. It is because of stringent quality
control in the entire manufacturing process that has given Sri Johani the
reputation of a premier glove manufacturer.
To achieve these quality gloves, three
important elements are present: high technology, state-of-the-art
machinery and equipment and high quality latex.
Sri Johani has invested in
state-of-the-art machinery and equipment and high quality latex.
Also, latex and chemical material used
are first checked for their quality before and after latex compounding to doubly
ensure quality.
The Process:
The process begins with the
thorough washing of a former.
It is then coated with a
coagulant agent and mould releasing agent.
Then it is dipped into the
coagulant tank. A soft gel-like rubber coating is formed on the formers.
The gel-like gloves are
properly leached and covered with donning agent i.e. absorbable cornstarch.
The gloves are put into the
oven.
When ready, they are taken out
and stripped off.
All the gloves are tumbled to
remove excessive powder.
The gloves are inspected to
ensure quality.
Gloves that pass the specification
test are packed and shipped to customers.
With more varieties of gloves in demand
in today's markets, Sri Johani's R&D department has worked hard to
keep the company ahead in the competition with new varieties like
powder-free (chlorinated), powder-free (non-chlorinated), powder-free
(polymer coated), powdered and powder-free nitrile gloves and most
important, low protein powdered latex examination gloves.
The manufacturing process has become more
sophisticated in this new era with more procedures. New techniques
are created and modifications are implemented to ensure absolute quality.
These procedures include post leaching
process and polymer coating activities. The successful implementation of
new techniques not only benefit the company but the company's valued
customers too.
